All-time top scorer Walwyn leads race to reach 15,000 runs |

Woodlands' veteran all-rounder Murphy Walwyn is leading the race to become the first batsman to score 15,000 JCT 600 Bradford League runs.
Walwyn, the all-time record runscorer, had 14,631 runs to his name going into the current season - 357 more than Undercliffe's Mark Gilliver and a further 145 runs ahead of Keighley's Richard Robinson.
It is a considerable achievement for Walwyn to be the leading runscorer as he has batted in the middle order for much of his career wherea all of his closest challengers in the list of the JCT 600 Bradford League's all-time top scorers poroduced by league records secretary Michael Rhodes,
The top four places in the chart are filled by current players - Farsley's Ashley Metcalfe is in close pursuit of Walwyn, Gilliver and Robinson with 13,922 runs.
Brian Lymbery, who for many seasons after his retirement in 1988 was top scorer, is fifth with 13,739, just ahead of the former Spen Victoria and Cleckheaton opener Chris Pickles.
