The Management Committee are seeking applications from clubs wishing to enter the 2010 competition.

There are currently two vacancies following the decisions of Central Yorkshire League side Carlton and Huddersfield League outfit Lascelles Hall to withdraw.

New entrants have to be based within 18 miles of Batley Town Hall and must field sides in both the Heavy Woollen and Crowther Cups.

Clubs interested in joining the competition must contact secretary Lesley Robinson, 33 Moss Carr Avenue, Long Lee, Keighley, BD21 4SE in writing as soon as possible.

The annual general meeting of the Heavy Woollen Competition is on November 3 at Gomersal, 7.30pm.
