Wrenthorpe recorded a third successive Heavy Woollen Cup win when they bowled out Baildon for 88 to win by 94 runs.

Gary Fellows, who top scored with 59 in Wrenthorpe's innings of 182 all out, and took three for three was voted man of the match

Wrenthorpe are the fourth side after Dewsbury Saville (twice), Ossett (twice) and Heckmondwike to complete a hat-trick of final wins.

Their win was well deserved and they inflicted more final misery on a Baildon side who were dismissed for 99 in losing the 2006 final to Barnsley, and were skittled out for 88 this time.

They could have no complaints about the outcome as Wrenthorpe were superior in all aspects of the game.

2-1 Tabbi Bhatti is caught at gulley by Jonathan Kirk off Glover for nought. Not the start Baildon wanted and it brought their skipper Ian Philliskirk in to join teenage batsman Harry Smallwood.

Much rested on Philliskirk's performance and a confident cover drive off Glover looks to be headed for the boundary until Paynter makes a sprawling stop just inside the ropes

12-2 Smallwood clips a ball into the legside and is caught by the sprawling Austin off Glover.

12-3 New batsman Ahsan Butt becomes the third player in the match to be dismissed first ball as he is trapped lbw by Glover.

Nahim Ashraf survives the hat-trick ball but Baildon are deep in trouble and need to turn the tide.

Philliskirk had a narrow escape on nine when he pulled a ball from Glover to square leg where Tonito Willett jumped high and got fingers to the ball but couldn't cling on as the batsman collected three runs.

21-4 Baildon's plight worsens as Ashraf edges a ball from Gill and wicketkeeper Jonothon Smith takes a full length diving catch. Ashraf is out for 2.

Webb's under way as he clips Glover for four to long leg. Baildon need a few more of them.

Gill (6-1-11-1) is replaced at the scorebox end by Wrenthorpe skipper Kevin Watson. Webb nudges a single on the legside.

It's a double bowling change as West indian Willett takes over from Glover (6-1-21-3). There's a big appeal for lbw first ball against Webb but umpire Ian Dixon rejects the appeal. Webb takes a single from the final ball of a lively over.

After 15 overs Baildon are 38-4, Wrenthorpe were 53-1 at the same stage in their innings.

The 50 comes up off 112 balls as Philliskirk pulls Watson for four. A powerful drive next ball is well stopped by the diving Kirk limiting the batsman to a single, but Webb cashes in on a misfield as he drives the next ball for four. An edge past slip brings the third boundary of the over.

They're laying in to Watson. Philliskirk greets the start of his opposite number's next over by lofting him over long on for six. Three balls later an expansive drive from the Baildon skipper races to the boundary.

The runs are coming more freely and the first ball of Willett's next over goes for four leg byes.

74-5; Disaster strikes for Baildon as Webb backs up too far and can't beat Kirk's throw as Philliskirk sends him back. It ended a stand of 53 for the fifth wicket.

74-6 Jonny Reynolds goes first ball, caught at slip by Kirk. That's the fourth golden duck of the game.

Mushtaq joins Philliskirk as drinks are taken. There's a lot of work to be done, but Mushtaq cuts Paynter for four. He should have departed next ball when Kevin Watson couldn't cling on to a chance, but he didn't make the most of his escape.

84-7 Mustaq chips a catch to Gill and Wrenthorpe are on the brink of a third successive final triumph. Baildon will be desperate to beat the 99 all out they made in the final two years when losing by eight wickets .

Willetts (7-1-9-0) takes a break and is replaced by Fellows.New batsman Matthew Webb gets off the mark with a single.

86-8 Fellows strikes with his sixth ball and its the prize wicket of Philliskirk. He is clean bowled and Baildon have lost four wickets for 12 runs.

88-9 Andy Walker is trapped lbw by Fellows.

88 all out: It's all over. Fellows bowls Brett Kinsey and cue Wrenthorpe celebrations.

Baildon, leaders of the JCT 600 Bradford League, were forced to make one change to their side with teenage pace bowler Brett Kinsey replacing the injured Craig Hitchenor.

Holders Wrenthorpe, bidding to win the cup for a third successive year, were at full strength.

Baildon skipper Ian Philliskirk won the toss and chose to bowl first.

Eric Austin and Gary Fellows opened the batting for Wrenthorpe, with left-hander Austin facing the first ball from Andy Walker. The first ball was a no ball. The second leapt from short of a length forcing Austin to take his top hand off the bat. The no ball was the only run from the opening over.

Brett Kinsey, the youngster drafted into the side shared the new ball. Fellows got off the mark by clipping Linsey's second ball for a single to square leg. Austin pushed the final ball into the covers for a single to end a steady over from the youngster.

Fellows struck the first boundary with a sweetly timed off drive from the opening ball of Walker's third over.

Austin produced a fine cover drive to register his first boundary when Kinsey over-pitched in the sixth over. The left hander then pulled a short ball from Walker past midwicket for a second four.

21-1 Baildon gained their first wicket. Austin. who had made 12, left a ball from Walker and saw his off bail removed.

New batsman David Paynter opened his account with a beautiful on drive for four off the lively Kinsey.

Fellows, who had been kept relatively quiet drove Kinsey for four in the 12th over as the score moved on to 33. He then chipped the same bowler over midwicket for four.

The first bowling change came in the 13th over when Walker (6-0-14-1) was replaced by left-arm spinner Mushtaq Ahmed whose first ball was short and was pulled for four by Paynter.

It proved to be a double bowling change as Ahsan Butt took over from Kinsey (6-1-24-0) at the scoreboard end.

Paynter clipped Butt's fifth ball to the midwicket boundary as he continued to make an impressive start to his innings.

Paynter, who had to dive into the crease to beat a throw from wicketkeeper Simon Webb when Fellows called a quick single, then stroked his fourth boundary through the covers off Mushtaq.

50 came up off 90 balls

The impressive Paynter soon added a fifth boundary when he stroked a half-volley from Butt through the covers as he raced on to 22 from 20 balls.

Fellows hits his fourth boundary when he lofts Butt back over his head four four.

67-2 Paynter's bright innings came to an end when he sliced an attempted drive off Butt and was caught at point by Tabissum Bhatti. for 25.

68-3 New man Craig White, the Yorkshire and England all-rounder was bowled by spinner Mushtaq Ahmed from his first ball.

West indian Tonito Willett joined Fellows as Wrenthorpe sought to recover from the double setback.

Butt beat Willett outside off stump but the ball just missed the stumps and evaded wicketkeeper Simon Webb and raced away for four byes. The next ball hit Willett's pad and raced away for four leg byes as the score moved on to 81-3 after 24 overs, at which point drinks were taken.

Fellows kept the scoreboard ticking by cutting the first ball after the break from Mushtaq for four.

Mushtaq, who had figures of 7-2-18-1, was replaced by skipper Ian Philliskirk at the Roberttown Lane end. His first over yielded four singles.

Once again Philliskirk made it a double change with teenage off spinner Harry Smallwood replacing Butt (7-1-28-1). His first over cost just two runs.

Fellows brought up the 100 with the game's first six. He lofted Philliskirk over the ropes at long on. The 100 came up off 172 balls.

Willett was lucky not to be run out when Butt's poor throw from point couldn't be gathered by keeper Simon Webb with the batsman short of his ground.

Fellows brought up his 50 from 80 balls with a single off Philliskirk. It contained a six and five fours. The 50 partnership followed in the next over. It came from 64 balls.

132-4 Fellows's innings came to an end when Walker returned to the attack in place of Philliskirk. His third ball was edged to the diving wicketkeeper Simon Webb who took the catch. Fellows had made 59.

Willett, who was playing with good control, stepped out to hammer Smallwood straight for six as he moved on to 35.

156-5 Another big wicket for Baildon as Willetts is well caught on the long on boundary in front of the scorebox off spinner Harry Smallwood.

156-6 With the score unchanged Johnny Kirk is caught by Butt off Smallwood without scoring.

157-7 The collapse continues as Smith slips and is run out by a smart throw from Tabbi Bhatti for five.

158-8 Four wickets have fallen for two runs as Gill is bowled by Ahsan Butt first ball.

180-9 Barry McCormack, who had made 15 is lbw to Mushtaq Ahmed.

Wrenthorpe skipper Kevin Watson found himself joining Tom Glover with seven overs remaining in the innings. It was a dramatic turnaround

Andy Walker returned to the attack determined to try and wrap up the Wrenthorpe innings which has disintegrated dramatically.
