The JCT 600 Bradford League's recent domination of the Black Sheep Champions Trophy has come to an end with the exit for Pudsey Congs from this season's competition.
They suffered a 69-run defeat at the hands of Yorkshire League champions York, despite a battling century from Andrew Bairstow.
Bairstow made 101 but Congs were dismissed for 203 in reply to a York score of 272-8 in which Dan Walsh (61), Duncan Snell (58), Nicky Kay (48) and Simon Mason (32) all made valuable contributions despite the efforts of Mohammad Naveed 4-32.
York will play Townville or Honley in the final at Honley on Sunday, September 14. |
