Champions East Bierley won the top-of-the-table battle with Esholt to open up a 13-point lead at the top of the Second Teams Division One.
East Bierley won by four-wickets and their success was set up by some good bowling from Chris Brook (4-26) and Matthew Anderson (4-34) as Esholt were dismissed for 132. Bierley eased home with James Petty making 34.
Elsewhere there were thrilling finishes. Pudsey St Lawrence and Yeadon featured in the season's first tie, while Spen Victoria defeated Lightcliffe by one run.
Yeadon had opening bowler Richard Wood to thank for earning them a share of the spoils. He took five for 24 and with Ben Golley taking four for 36, St lawrence were dismissed for 137 - the same score as Yeadon made batting first, Darren machell made 59 for Yeadon while young spinner Adam Hopkins took five for 24 for St Lawrence.
Maddy Jamal produced his best bowling figures of five for 38 as Spen Victoria edged a one-run win over Lightcliffe. Skipper Gareth Stevens made 51 for Lightcliffe but couldn't save last season's runner-up from a defeat which puts them in the relegation zone. Spen were also indebted to the battling efforts of teenager Sean Raven who made top score of 35 in their total of 146 all out. Veteran Lightcliffe bowler Roger Stead took four for 31.
Baildon's Ross Todd hit an unbeaten 112 as they beat Bowling Old Lane by 71 runs. Mohammad Abbas (38) was the other main contributor to a score of 225-4. Old Lane started well in reply but faltered as spinner Jamie Abbott took five for 36. Old Lane were dismissed for 154.
Cleckheaton maintained their recent improvement with an 18-run win over Cleckheaton. Chris Dobson and Edward Walmsley each made 70 as Cleckheaton posted a score of 214-9 before Marcus Walmsley took four for 38 as Keighley were restricted to 196-9/ Tim Burnley made 51 and Alan Broadley (43).
Farsley slumped to the bottom of the table when they went down by five wickets to Woodlands. Young Harry Smallwood (90no) and Robert Medcalf (54no) steered Woodlands past a Farsley score of 181-8 which included 61 from Terry Staniforth and 50 by Joe Greaves. Skipper Phil Walker took four for 18 for Woodlands.
Paul Eachus continued his good form for Pudsey Congs with 53 while Warren Allitt struck 52 as they helped their side make 201-7 in a 45-run win over Hanging Heaton. Teenage bowler Liam Stanhope picked up four for 55 as Hanging Heaton were dismissed for 156.
Morley have opened a four-point lead in Division Two after their 78-run win over Bankfoot. Gavin Goodlad made 52 in a Morley score of 165 all out, then Richard Winn took three for 18 and Graham Roberts (3-19) as Brighouse were dismissed for 65.
Manningham Mills are now second after defeating Undercliffe by three wickets. Veteran Andy Wilsdon tried his best to spare Undercliffe from defeat. He made 45 out of his side's 152 all out and took four for 52 as Mills edged home with Junaid Ali making 43 not out.
Bradford & Bingley are only a point adrift of Undercliffe after beating Idle by 61 runs. Waj Ali took five for 13 as Idle, despite 68 from young Nicky Hardaker, were dismissed for 123. James Dunn top scored with 39 in Bingley's score of 184 all out.
Saj Ali's unbeaten 81 helped Saltaire to defeat Great Horton by six wickets. Earlier, Usman Munir claimed six for 48 as Great Horton made 195 all out. Shabbir Allahi top scored with 49.
Gomersal won a low-scoring encounter with Hartshead Moor by 16 runs. Their chances of victory didn't seem to promising when Gomersal were dismissed for 96 as deadly Danny Barlow claimed seven for 25. Andy Fearnside top scored for Gomersal with 39. Hartshead Moor were shot out for 80 in reply as Reece Drake took three for 10 and skipper Chris Rhodes (3-13).
Windhill picked up a maximum 20 points as they defeated Bankfoot by 113 runs. Richard Clow (58) and Joe Ollerenshaw 75) guided Windhill to a score of 261-9 despite the efforts of Kanwat Bhapputa (5-65). Bankfoot, despite 85 not out from Nicky Gomersall, struggled against the bowling of Andy Sutcliffe (5-56) and Danny Maguire (3-43) as they were dismissed for 148.
