The dates for the 2008 season were confirmed by the JCT 600 Bradford League Management Board at their meeting this week.

The fixtures will start on Saturday, April 19 and will continue until September 6 for Division Two sides and September 13 for those in Division One.

Just like this year there will be three Sunday programmes for Division One teams on June 22, July 27 and August 31.

As usual there will be a full programme of matches on the Spring Bank Holiday on Monday, May 26.

The first round of the Sovereign Health Care Priestley Cup and Shield is set for Sunday May 4. The second round is on June 1, the quarter-finals on June 29 and the semi-finals on July 15.

The Priestley Shield final will be moved forward to August 10 and the Priestley Cup final will be staged on Sunday, August 24 which means the Bank Holiday Monday will be the reserve date.

Chief Executive Bob Shackleton said: "The fixture dates follow the same pattern as this year and I urge all clubs to study them closely and inform me before November 30 if they have a problem with any dates. After the deadline no requests for fixture changes will be considered."

The dates of the league meetings have also been set. The pre-season meeting is on March 27, the Rules Revision Meeting will take place on September 25, the annual meeting will be on Thursday, November 13 and the annual dinner on Friday, November 21.
