Brighouse skipper Mark Gilliver has closed the gap on Murphy Walwyn in the list of highest-scoring batsmen currently playing in the JCT 600 Bradford League
Gilliver, who has scored 456 runs this season, now has a career aggregate of 14,122 and is just 371 runs behind Walwyn who has only added 33 to hos tally in 2007.
Third-placed Richard Robinson of Keighley is just four runs away from becoming the third batsman past 14,000 runs. Farsley's Ashley Metcalfe is also well placed to reach the landmark on 13,721.
In the bowling the leader is Richard McCarthy of Bradford & Bingley who has 863 wickets and is six ahead of Andy Wilsdon who is now playing second team cricket for Undercliffe. Idle's Greg Colehan has taken 21 wickets this term to move up to 716.
