Radio coverage doubled for new season

Bradford Community Broadcasting kicks off its coverage of the JCT 600 Bradford League tomorrow when Alan Douglas will host the 30 minute programme on 106.6FM.

Joining him in the studio will be veteran player Paul Wiseman who has just been appointed coach of Bradford's Joe Lumb team and umpire David Barnes who is set to host the new Monday night 6pm show on BCB which will focus on second teams.

BBC Radio Leeds have also announced that they are doubling coverage of the JCT 600 Bradford League too.

Their Saturday night Scorecard will return for a 20 week run on Saturday, May 5 and the programme will be increased to two hours. The show will be broadcast from 7-9pm on the am frequency at 774 khz.

It will be hosted by Ian Chappell and will feature reports and results from the area's senior cricket leagues. Alan Birkinshaw will again be reporting on the JCT 600 Bradford League game of the day.
